Former Liverpool, Bolton and Blackburn forward El Hadji Diouf has agreed to join Championship outfit Doncaster Rovers on a short term deal. Diouf, who has been without a club since his release from Blackburn, has put pen to paper a three month contract with Donny and is awaiting international clearance for his switch.
Diouf was widely expected to join West Ham after having a trial but Sam Allardyce decided against completing the move.
Diouf is Donny’s second major Premier League signing this season after manager Dean Sounders landed Pascal Chimbonda.
