Manchester City’s Champions League fixture against Bayern Munich turned into a hugely forgettable night for the English side. Not only did Bayern convincingly beat City 2-0, Roberto Mancini had rows with two of his strikers in the game.
Firstly Edin Dzeko was substituted for Nigel de Jong, and Dzeko seemed mighty unhappy with the substitution and shook his head at Mancini ( See the Mancini-Dzeko Video below).
Then Mancini wanted to bring Carlos Tevez on as City attempted to claw back a 2-0 deficit, but the Argentine striker refused to play, leading the manager to claim that Tevez’s City career was finished.

No justification for either Tevez or Dzeko’s behaviour but that was a disaster waiting to happen at city given their spending spree
I feel with the money these guys make, they should be ashamed of their preformances. I mean the people who spupport the clubs makes very little money, and still these “stars” acts like they own the world! Its sad!
1.Barca 2.Bayern 3. Real
dzeko is the king
there is no substitution for him
if he is out of game, its beter to not watch game at all and man city is without chance to win
on the other side this is pressure for him and who knows how its gonna afect on him and club in future
he just need that much support how much he deserve
give him more or less its negative for him
What the hell was Mancini thinking taking Dzeko off with 40 minutes left and putting De Jong on out of all people, De Jong isn’t exactly a striker is he? Dzeko’s dissapointment is kind of understandable considering he is City’s in form forward at the moment. Tevez however has no excuses because at the end of the day the institution is always bigger and more important than the player and he has no right to not warm up at the manager’s command, unless there was a massive misunderstanding.
May almighty help city of england
Tevez is the best player in city and he doesn’t deserve to be bench!!!!
ut let’s look at it from Tevez’s point of view for a moment. Everyone is quick to jump the gun and criticise the striker, yet who has looked at his side? Having been mismanaged by the incomprehendeble Mancini on several occassions, he clearly reached breaking point in Munich on Tuesday. He has clearly had enough of Manchester, he clearly has enough money to last him, and so know he wants to spend his time with his family. I’d go as far as saying that is admirable, especially as he has stated on several occassions that having made his money he is desperate to return home to help the broken community he was raised in. Tevez is the ultimate rags to riches story, having grown up in one of the roughest favelas of Argentina, Tevez rose to fame and fortune and now wants to help, yet is stranded in Manchester.
Fired manchini!!!!!!!!!!
