Mexico U17 Julio Gomez goal vs Germany U17- FIFA World Cup 2011- Overhead kick

This last gasp Julio Gomez goal vs Germany gave Mexico U17 a stunning 3-2 win over the Germans in the FIFA U-17 (Sub 17) World Cup Semifinal contested between the two sides. Gomez’s goal (A bicycle kick) came after he had suffered a head injury in Jorge Espericueta’s direct goal from a corner kick.

The heavily bandaged Gomez then struck a fabulous overhead kick goal in the 90th minute of the game ( again from a corner) to send the crowd and Mexican bench into a frenzy.

One of the great moments of U17 World Cup football!
