It’s a great exposure for Indian players . Football is Football whether you lost 4-0 or 1-0, it’s the same thing, the bottom line is you lost. anyway i hope that we will keep on improving year by year. It’s a great achievement for Indian football to come back to this level of football after long time.
well i thoughtindia willlost 10-0
It was a thrashing, no doubt. But at the moment we are just happy that we are getting a chance to gain some valuable experience against nations ranked more than a hundred above us. In the same manner that Australia shows a fighting spirit at the FIFA world cup, the Indians tried doing the same. The display was a culturally different display to what Indian football has ever seen before while playing bigger opponents. It was heartening to note that the strikers didnt resign themselves to joining the defense to get a touch of the football and an attempt was made to move the ball around instead of our usual first-time clearances. This is a good beginning and I hope they will start making an impact in Asian football within the next four years time. In the meantime good luck to Australia in their campaign, but dont know if this is the balm that will soothe sporting aficianados after the Ashes humiliation.
