Barcelona and PSV agree for 2011 winter transfer of Afellay.
Big transfer news this one- Barcelona are almost certain to sign Dutch winger Ibrahim Afellay from PSV Eindhoven in the 2011 January transfer window after the Eredivisie club formally announced an agreement between the two sides for the transfer.
Afellay was out of contract at PSV at the end of the 10/11 season and had been linked with a move to Arsenal amongst other clubs. Barca will reportedly pay PSV around 3 million euros for Afellay’s services.
Afellay has however not agreed personal terms with Barcelona, but it is unlikely that the deal will fall through.
