The new Denmark football shirt, to be worn by the Danish football team at this summer’s 2010 World Cup in South Africa, has been unveiled by Adidas. The Denmark kit has red and white as its main colours, and was first worn by the national team on November 14, 2009 in a friendly against South Korea. Denmark qualified for the 2010 World Cup automatically as Group 1 winners.

The main unique feature of the new Denmark jersey is the eleven dotted lines you see across the chest, just below the DBU logo. The eleven lines, as you might have already guessed, stand for the eleven Danish players that take the field in every international game. The shirt is reportedly inspired by the Danish national flag ( Dannebrog)
