Manchester United, Inter and Barcelona crowned respective league champions

Manchester United, Inter Milan and Barcelona were crowned champions of their respective leagues as the European football season drew to a close today.

United won their third consecutive Premier League title after drawing 0-0 with bitter rivals Arsenal at Old Trafford. The result took United seven clear of Liverpool, who needed the former to lose in order to keep their title hopes alive.

Jose Mourinho won the Scudetto with Inter Milan again as city rivals AC Milan lost 2-1 to Udinese.

Barcelona were crowned Spanish champions after Real Madrid were beaten 3-2 by Villareal on Sunday.
