Senegal winger Khalilou Fadiga has left Belgian club Geerminal Beerschot after the two parties mutually decided to terminate his contract. Fadiga, 33, joined the Antwerp club earlier this year from Gent. He had stated his desire to return to England a month back, saying he loved the way football was played in the country.
Fadiga holds a Belgian passport, and could have played for Belgium because his wife, Jill, is Belgian. He has played for Auxerre, Club Brugge and Bolton Wanderers in the past.
