Falkirk’s young 19 year old midfielder Scott Arfield has won the Clydesdale Bank Premier League Young Player of the Month award for September. Arfield, who turns 20 on November 1, is contracted to Falkirk for the next five years, having signed a new contract with the Bairns in February. He made his club debut in August 2007.
This is not the first team Arfield has won the award. He won it for the month of December last year too.
Arfield scored three goals in September 2008- one against Hearts and two in the 4-1 win over Hamilton Academical.
