David Beckham has found a spot in the MLS All Star XI team that will take on West Ham United in Toronto on July 24. The former England skipper came second in the overall vote, only next to Galaxy team mate Landon Donovan. Last year the All Star XI beat Scottish giants Celtic 2-0 in Colorado with goals from Juan Carlos Toja and Juan Pablo Angel.
The All Star XI is given below :-
Matt Reis ( New England Revolution)
Jimmy Conrad ( Kansas City Wizards)
Michael Parkhurst ( New England Revolution)
Frankie Hejduk ( Columbus Crew)
David Beckham ( LA Galaxy)
Shalrie Joseph ( New England Revolution)
Cuauhtemoc Blanco ( Chicago Fire)
Sacha Kljestan (Chivas USA)
Robbie Rogers (Columbus Crew)
Kenny Cooper ( Dallas)
Landon Donovan ( LA Galaxy)
Coach : Steve Nicol ( New England Revolution)
By club :
New England Revolution : 3
LA Galaxy : 2
Columbus Crew : 2
Kansas City Wizards : 1
Dallas : 1
Chivas USA : 1
Chicago Fire : 1
The team that starts against Celtic may not necessarily comprise of the above 11, with five additional players of Nicol’s choice and 2 of commissioner Don Garber also in the running for a spot in the first eleven.

I find it surprising that even though Galaxy have the maximum number of players in the All-Star lineup, they struggle to dominate the League.
