Another example of poor refereeing… why do we have so many of them these days?
there is so much talents in the chelsea club. the only thing they need to be aggressive in their way of playing, like man.united. their defeats always come as a result of the lethagic attitutes they put in the pit of playing. The chelsea am seeing these days isn’t the chelsea at 2003,4,and 5. The problem of chelsea is obviously not the coach but the players who have to sort themselves to make chelsea a better club. Many times it’s pains me greatly when they loose but am always confidence that the time is young and that they still have way to put chelsea on the lead if they commit themselves
However, many players have come and go without making an impact in the club, such as Deco, Benayoun to name but a few, because they were not given time to display their talents and at the end the club forfeited what they should have gained. But I hope this time round Torres and Louis and Matta were given ample time to improve themselves. THANKS TO MANAGMENT
Both the red cards are correct. I have played soccer on high level for 25 years and I completely agree with both. The first I thought he had wrong initially, but the second replay from the front shows him tugging his short like crazy. That is an automatic yellow card following the rules, plus it was the backmost defender so the red is clear. The second to me is even more solid. Both feet, studs first, it doesn’t matter if he gets the ball. If the other guys feet were planted on impact he would have nearly killed him. I have seen long term injuries coming from those sorts of tackles, and bone-splintering injuries at that. The rules say that “attempted” punches or kicks are direct red cards, well if so why on earth wouldn’t that tackle be, it’s as much of a two-footed kick as anything.
Nuff said…
adil taarabrt tha best playar
I think drogba deserve it.. but the first red card for bosingwa was a poor decision by referee.. he should give yellow to philips not red card for bosingwa
Dear Sir,
This whole thing about the England Coach’s resignation and Terry’s captainship and tribalism or colour discrimination and etc… was started by the referee who was at the center of the match between Chelsea and QPR. He knew what he was about – to get Chelsea to go dowm the table. We all saw what happened, and there was a whole lot of critism after the match. Why has the England FA not invited him to defend his actions. This thing nearly cost Seth Blatter his job, but still we all looked on as if nothing had happened. Please be bold enough to face this problem as it comes and get some answers, or leave TERRY alone. He has coloured players in his team and they are united, and so let this thing sleep for ever. Take his badge and you will be making a big mistake in colour politics in Football
Thanks
Paa Philip
